About the Book

Execution is where most strategies fail. The Execution Playbook: From Vision to Results is a practical, disciplined guide for leaders and professionals who are responsible for delivering outcomes not just setting direction. Rather than focusing on motivation or inspiration, this book introduces a clear execution framework built for real-world conditions like pressure, constraints, limited resources, and competing priorities. At the center of the book is the Yunusa Model of Strategic Execution (Y-MSE)—a structured approach that helps individuals and organizations move from clarity to action, from action to evidence and from evidence to sound decisions. Through practical guidance, structured thinking, and applied case examples, readers will learn how to: Translate strategy and goals into executable systems Design execution structures that hold under pressure Measure progress objectively instead of relying on intuition Decide when to continue, adjust, or stop initiatives Sustain results and institutionalize what works This is not a motivational book. It is a playbook for disciplined execution. Designed for executives, managers, entrepreneurs, and professionals who are accountable for results, The Execution Playbook is meant to be used, reviewed, and applied not read once and forgotten.

About the Author

A. S. Yunusa is a civil engineer, project manager, and business leader with experience delivering complex projects across construction, real estate, and organizational environments. He holds advanced training in finance and investment, alongside his engineering and project leadership background, and has worked at the intersection of technical execution, capital allocation, and leadership decision-making. Across his professional journey, he has led teams, managed risk, and navigated execution in environments defined by constraints, accountability, and uncertainty. Through practice and reflection, he developed the Yunusa Model of Strategic Execution (Y-MSE) to address a recurring challenge in organizations: capable people working hard without a reliable execution system. His work focuses on execution discipline, leadership judgment, and building systems that deliver consistent results over time.
